Trauma Racism

This training, by Jeremy Allen with Southern Illinois University-Carbondale, will provide information regarding the traumatic impact of racism including signs, symptoms, and long-term effects of exposure. This training will also provide education on the effects of racism and division on populations.

Objectives:
1. Learn how race is used to promote division.
2. Gain understanding of why race is used to support divisive principles.
3. Learn about the effects of division in our society.
4. Gain insight into the obvious and understated traumatic effects of racism.
5. Participation in a solution-focused discussion regarding racial trauma and division.
